To this end, under the direction of Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar, Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited has provided VISAT equipment to ensure uninterrupted telecommunication services including internet.

A total of 12 VISAT pieces of equipment were handed over to the Bangladesh Army under the supervision of Secretary of Posts and Telecommunications Khalilur Rahman on Saturday to ensure telecommunication services in the flood-hit areas of Sylhet and Sunamganj districts.
