Apurba has played seven characters of police in ‘Police- Ekjon Manush’

Mabrur Rashid Bannah has made a drama named ‘Police- Ekjon Manush’ with seven different stories. And popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba has played the role of police. In this drama, Apurba played in seven characters and all characters are police. Tasnia Farin played opposite him.  

Recently, the shooting of the drama ended in the capital’s Uttara. Of the seven stories- one is written by actor Apurba, one is collected, and the remaining five stories by Mabrur Rashid Bannah himself.      

In the context of the drama, Mabrur Rashid Bannah said, “There are positive and negative- two types of ideas in our country with police. But negatives are more discussed.” 

“Many people forgot that police is the place of trust for the common man. This drama has been made with seven short stories where there are some messages, there are many things to learn. Hopefully, after watching the audience, many people will be able to know a lot, understand them,” he said.  

He also said, “In this play, I have highlighted the positive aspects of the police. And I never make any drama on the basis of view. There are some messages in every story. So, here is too.”

About the drama, Apurba said, “I did this thing really differently. Here I played the role of police- sometimes constable, sometimes SI, and sometimes traffic police, all of which are related to police. We have a lot of ideas about the police. There are a lot of lessons from this work. It feels great to do such a thing.”

It is known that the drama will be broadcasted on YouTube on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh. And in this Pahela Baishakh, three dramas and a short film of Mabrur Rashid Bannah will be released on various YouTube channels. 

In the meantime, Apurba is busy with the Bengali New Year’s drama as well as the Eid dramas. Recently, he finished shooting of the drama title ‘Ei Baishakh e’ on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh. In the composition of Syed Iqbal, the dram is directed by Nazmul Roni. Though the drama was made for the Pahela Baishakh, it was originally intended to highlight love and different perspectives of estrangement.   

Apart from this, the shooting of ‘Megher Bari Jabo’, ‘Babu Siddiqui’s ‘Meghla Meghla Din’ and ‘Valobashar Neel Akash’, and Sardar Rokon’s ‘Ami Theke Amra’.
