Expatriate Abul Kalam Azad tied the knot only 8 days ago over the mobile phone with the consent of both families. Before developing a private love relationship with the bride, the young man died in road crash.

Abul Kalam Azad was going to a local mosque in Saudi Arabia to offer Friday prayers. He died on the spot when a speeding private car hit him while crossing the road. His body is currently kept in the morgue of a Saudi Hospital.

Abul Kalam Azad is the son of Md. Alek Hossain of Ghatpara area of ​​Betbaria village of Gangni upazila in Meherpur.

As soon as the news of Abul Kalam Azad's death reached home, a shadow of mourning came in among his family members and in-laws' homes. Kalam was very beloved by locals. So they are also saddened hearing his death news.

The deceased's cousin and brother-in-law Tariq Hossain said that Azad went to Saudi Arabia to bring solvency to the family. He was earning good money there. I cannot accept his untimely death.  

Azad's younger brother Ripon said that the matter has been reported to the Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia. The embassy told us that the body will be repatriated according to Saudi law.

Saidul Islam, a local UP member, said that Azad got married over the mobile phone a week ago. He had to leave the earth before receiving the love of the bride. His family is bereaved over his death.
