Rainfall likely at one-two places over country

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today has forecasted that the chances of rainfall or thundershowers at one or two places in the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am.
According to the BMD weather forecast, the weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over the Sylhet division during the period.
Besides, light fog may occur at places over the southern part of the country from late night to morning.
Meanwhile, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
A trough of westerly low has been lying over the Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, as a result, the seasonal low has lied over the South Bay.
“Rain or thundershowers is likely to occur over the northern part of the country in the next 72 hours,” the Met Office also said.
The country’s maximum temperature recorded 33.4°C at Patuakhali in the Barishal division while today’s minimum temperature recorded 15.0°C at Rajshahi and Ishurdi of Rajshahi division and Tetulia and Rajarhat of Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:03 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 6:17 am.
