During the festive and holy season of Ramadan, the leading online marketplace Daraz Bangladesh (daraz.com.bd) has tied up with Visa, the global leader in digital payments technology to offer its customers great online shopping experience. This Ramadan and Eid campaign has been a great success with high engagement from Visa users into shopping online on Daraz. It has brought an increase of around 30% of Visa transactions than that of previous months.
During Eid campaign, Visa offered 15% off (Maximum discount 450TK) on every COF transaction to the Daraz-Visa customers. The offer will continue till 15th June. This offer includes current Visa Credit, Debit or Prepaid Card (“Visa Card”). COF (Card on File) is an advanced process through which customers can easily make transaction without bothering to enter and re-enter their credit or debit card information each time they make a purchase. It helps customers tremendously by providing a faster and secured check-out during payment. This has been a great opportunity for the customers buying from different categories of products like Smartphones, Air conditioners, Fashion, Groceries and many more.
Syed Ahmed Abrar Hasnain - Head of Marketing of Daraz Bangladesh, said, “It is a collective opportunity for both Daraz and Visa to give away the best offers to our customers so that our customers can purchase authentic products with great savings. We are delighted to work together and hope to bring exciting offers in the future as well.”
Shailesh Paul - Visa’s Head of Merchant Sales & Acquiring, India and South Asia said, “Cardholders in Bangladesh are increasingly experiencing the benefits of safe and convenient online transactions. The ongoing Daraz Shopping Fest is a great example of a partnership that helps customers to transact securely and save money. Spanning across the Ramadan season, the fest has an exclusive discount for Visa cardholders and the chance to win prizes when shopping on Daraz. Visa is delighted to partner with Daraz and will continue to provide its cardholders a safe and convenient way to shop online through its partners in Bangladesh.”
The demand of online shopping is growing rapidly in Bangladesh. Daraz and Visa jointly wish to ensure authentic, secured and hassle-free online shopping experience for the customers in the coming days.
