Age limit for Covid-19 vaccine lowered to 25yrs

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has lower the age limit for Covid-19 vaccine from 30 to 25 years.

This information was given in a special bulletin of the DGHS on Thursday.

Earlier, 55-year-olds were allowed to register for vaccination at the beginning of vaccination registration in the country. Later, the Department of Health decided to lower the age limit from 55 to 44 years to bring more people under vaccination due to low registration.

In the second phase, it was reduced to 40 years. In the third phase on July 5, the age limit for inoculation was lowered to 35 years. Later, on July 19, in the fourth phase, it was further reduced to 30 years.
