The movie ‘Abatar’ directed by Mahmud Hassan Shikdar is coming back to the theater this year. It is set to release on September 13 across the country. Team ‘Abatar’ is now busy promoting the release of the movie.

In the meantime, the trailer and song have been released on YouTube. Film actress Mahiya Mahi and newcomer Rusho are paired in the movie.

Along with directing, the story, screenplay, dialogues of the movie are done by Mahmud Hasan Shikdar himself.

“‘Abatar’ is the first dream, first child, the first movie of my life. I didn’t compromise on making it. Just as in story composing, so in artist selection, and in direction,” he said regarding the film.  

“I tried to make it my best. First of all, I thought of the audiences. Because my film is mainly for audiences. So I have tried to prioritize their needs and interests,” director Mahmud Hasan added. 

Amin Khan, Misa Sawdagar, Raisul Islam Asad, Shiva Sanu, Subrata and more have stared the film in the production of Saga Entertainment. 

The shooting was done in different locations of the country including Dhaka, Pabna, Shafipur, Narayanganj, Manikganj, Keraniganj. 

There are five songs in the movie ‘Abatar’, said the director. The songs are written by Shahidullah Farazi, Tariq Tuhin, and Mahmud Hassan Sikdar. Ahmed Humayun, Javed Ahmed Kislu and Kishore have composed the songs. SI Tutul, Nancy, Oyshee, Pulak, Sajal, Jui and Mim have voiced the songs.
