Navy and Air Force rescued 21 people alive in the sinking incident of Abul Khair Group’s MV Titu-18 and MV Titu-19,in the Bay of Bengal. The Navy has continued its operations to rescue the rest of missing, with Bangladesh Navy’s rescuer ship the Durjay, the Surabhi, the Shaibal and the Swads team and the BN helicopter.

Navy personnel rescued 10 crew from clinking vessel MV Titu-18. On the other hand, from MV Tit-19 two helicopters of the Bangladesh Air Force have rescued 11 crews. And they were provided first aid at Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque at around 6 pm.

Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque has handed over the rescued people to Abul Khair Group.

It is to be noted that due to a high storm in the sea, the clinking vessels, MV Titu-18 sank at around 11:00 am, and MV Titu-19 sank at around 3:00 pm.
